Amadeus Freytag's Pyramid

Internal & External Conflict: Salieri's struggle to accept that he is nothing compared to Amadeus Mozart and his actions that would influence in a way Amadeus life.


1. Exposition:











Salieri talking to a priest about his story since childhood.

2. Inciting Incident:


















Amadeus mocking Salieri's music.


3. Rising Action:














Salieri decides to challenge God by destroying his creation: Amadeus


4. Climax:










Amadeus starts to believe his father has come back from death to torment him.

5. Falling Action:












Salieri helping to full-fill the requiem. (We already know what Salieri's plan is and that most likely Mozart is going to die but we see that Salieri is also accepting Mozart is the best musician ever)



6. Resolution:








This actually happens at the beggining of the movie when Salieri tries to kill himself because he can't live with the burden of thinking he has killed Amadeus
